One afternoon per month GP surgeries within County Durham are allowed to close for training. This training is to ensure staff remain up to date and can continue to deliver high quality clinical care to patients. Our surgeries will close at lunchtime and will re-open again the following morning.
During these closures patients are advised to call 111 for routine medical needs that cannot wait until we reopen the following morning.
