For emergency appointments on Saturday, Sunday and during Bank Holiday periods please contact NHS 111, who will direct you to your nearest locally available service, depending upon your need.

Extended opening hours
Skerne Medical Group is able to offer some appointments on two evenings a week between 6.30pm and 7.45pm. These appointments are offered to increase access for patients to a GP. In addition appointments with a member of the Nursing Team are available between 6.30pm and 7.15pm.
The appointments will be rotated between the Sedgefield and Trimdon Colliery sites to afford maximum convenience to the greatest number of patients. It will be difficult, but not impossible, to make an extended hours appointment with a named doctor.
