Training practice

This is a registered training practice which means we often have an additional qualified doctor working with us who is gaining experience in general practice.

Additionally we teach medical students but you will always be asked whether or not you object to the presence of a student at your consultation.

An integral part of improving a doctor’s consultation technique is to video record some of his or her consultations. Again we will always ask for your permission before this happens. Nothing intimate will ever be recorded, your right to confidentiality will not be violated and you may ask for the camera to be switched off at a any time.

We are also an accredited research practice and you may be invited to participate. It is your right to accept or decline the invitation.

The seasonal influenza programme is extended to all children aged two, three and four years old (but not five years or older) on 31st August 2016 (i.e. born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2014).

The vaccine available to children, unless contraindicated, is in the form of a nasal spray rather than an injection, which we are sure will please the children!

Have you had your Flu Vaccination? No! then check if you are eligible. If you are unsure then speak with Reception today! Protect yourself and others.
